Port Massawa
Description:
The port of Massawa is located in the farthest part of the island, while the city itself is located on two islands and part of the mainland, connected to each other by a bulk road.
Arched windows, doors of most houses - these are the surviving echoes of the time when Egyptians and later Italians were in power in the city of Massawa. In the surviving buildings of houses that survived the bombing in the 1990s, you can see refined stucco molding, but most houses already have a deplorable appearance.
The port of Massau has a connection with the local railway, however, in fact, these transport connections are not relevant today, there are practically no ships in the port.
And the echoes of wartime, tank trophies turned not only into historical monuments that adorn the streets of the city, but also into places of recreation and entertainment, such as the An-12 aircraft.
