Boracay is known as one of the best beach resorts in the Philippines. This place is a “newcomer” in the world of tourism: they began to visit it not so long ago, only in the 80s.
The most famous beach of the island is White Beach, which got its name due to the delicate white sand. Balabog Beach is more suitable for fans of windsurfing and kiting: even wind creates ideal conditions for this activity. In addition to the beaches on Boracay, there are many things to see: the romantic Dead Forest, the Butterfly Garden, the caves with bats, Mount Lajo, the highest place of the island, the Glorio and Roberto Tyrol Museum, dedicated to the cultural heritage of China.
Boracay is the local capital of nightlife. There are many restaurants, bars, nightclubs. Boracay is not one of those islands where they go to plunge into vacation slumber, they are actively moving here.
For divers, there are interesting places: Friday’s Rock, perfect for beginners, and Lobster Rock, a shelter of many lobsters.
