Bohol Island. Visiting the tarsiers
Description:
The tour starts at 6:20 a.m. from Mactan. The journey to the Cebu pier will take about an hour depending on the situation on the road. The ferry to Bohol Island takes 2 hours.
After arriving on the island of Bohol, our exciting journey will begin. First, there will be lunch at a floating restaurant. We'll ride the Lobok River and try Filipino cuisine. The chic Kang Kong (water spinach) did not leave anyone indifferent. You will also have to try kebabs, jackfruit roast, rice buns, corn soup and much more. Well, to dilute the cruise on the river, we will visit the Ati tribe, where bright representatives of the indigenous Filipinos will show you the real life in the tribe. You can try playing drums and using bamboo and sticks, an interesting melody. You can take photos with fire, see totems in the cave and learn to shoot with a bow.
Our next stop is the chocolate hills. This is a mystery over which scientists are still arguing. You will learn all the theories of the appearance of these truffles on the plain, as well as the legends of giants. We're going to go up one of these hills and take some cool pictures with them.
After the hills, we will stop at the butterfly garden, where the dearest guide will tell us in Russian the stages of butterfly development and even show us hermaphrodites. But photos will be the highlight of the program. It's a little secret.
We will also visit the Mahogoni mahogany forest, where there is constant coolness and even the smell of mushrooms. And of course we'll visit the Long Spots. These are the little primates that often appear in funny videos on the Internet about paychecks and Mondays at work. There's a lot you didn't know about these babies.
Finally, there will be another surprise. If we are lucky, the coconut king will be waiting on the other side of the river, where you will have to cross over the suspended bamboo bridge. It's a Philippine star. The only and unique person who chews coconuts with his teeth. He's not there every day, but if we're lucky, we'll catch him. Here you can buy a real 100% pressed cocoa without GMOs and additives.
On the way to the pier, we will stop at one of the oldest churches in the Philippines, Bucklayon, and stop at the blood treaty monument.
