Music Day in France
Description:
This romantic red date of the calendar was born in 1982 thanks to the Minister of France Jacques Langroux and is held on the summer solstice.
Music on this day sounds everywhere: in concert halls, on the streets, in apartments. All who know how to play musical instruments, play, who can sing, who can dance, dance, those who are completely deprived of all talents, listen to performers, and all together enjoy life.
Parades of orchestras, concerts in which both “stars” and unknown artists take part, performing musical works of absolutely all genres, from classical music to its most modern currents. Many famous musicians specially come to France on this day to perform for free on stage, in restaurants, on the streets.
There is no silence on this day in France. And not only during the day, but also at night, because the holiday lasts until the morning. In general, official parades and concerts begin in the afternoon, after everyone finishes work, but everyone has a festive mood in the country from the very morning.
