Just a 45-minute drive from Bordeaux, you will find an amazing journey to the Atlantic Ocean – to the charming city of Arcachon and to the highest sand dune in Europe, the Peel dune. Its golden sands, going into the endless azure waves of the ocean, create a landscape of incredible beauty that can not be forgotten.
Arcachon is not just a resort. This is a city with a rich history and special charm, where from the middle of the XIX century the French nobility rested. We will walk through the old quarters, admire the magnificent pitchforks with lace balconies and learn what amazing stories these houses hide.
And, of course, our trip is impossible without gastronomic pleasure - tasting the freshest oysters right on the shore, on real oyster farms.
