"Night terrace cafe" in Arles
11 Place du Forum, 13200 Arles, France
About the company:
Arles is a small town located in the south of France, near the bank of the Rhône River. The population is approximately 50 thousand people. Arles is known mainly due to the fact that at the end of the 19th century, the world-famous post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh lived and worked in this city. Here in the autumn of 1888 he painted his painting The Night Terrace of the Café. Now this cafe is named after the artist - Cafe Van Gogh. The walls of the institution are still painted in bright yellow, as Van Gogh once captured it on his canvas. It is relatively uncrowded and very cozy, especially in the evening when the lanterns hanging at the entrance light up, recalling the distant times when the great artist drew his inspiration from looking at the evening streets of Arles.
