Grand Barrail Castle Hotel

Grand Barrail - a rare and very elegant castle in Bordeaux, which is more than 100 years old, today welcomes guests, but not on excursions, but for the night. It is worth living here at least a couple of days to feel the character of a measured rest in an aristocratic atmosphere.

The castle was built in 1902 on the site of the ruins of an ancient winery. It was built by a wealthy bourgeois, presumably for his beloved. To turn the chateau into an elegant hotel over the interior worked eminent French decorators Gilles Dez and Charles Montemarco.
