Freedom Square
Place de la Lib ration, 21000 Dijon, France
Description:
The central square of Dijon is Freedom Square. Its size is small, and the appearance resembles a pancake rolled in half. Here is the famous Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, as well as a theater that is definitely worth a visit. Near the square is the Basilica of Saint-Michel. Directly from the plates with which the square is paved, fountains beat, bathing in which citizens and tourists escape from the summer heat.
In addition to the well-known architectural monuments on Liberty Square and the narrow streets adjacent to it, the best and, naturally, the most expensive restaurants are located. There is also a restaurant that has a Michelin star. You can get into it only by pre-ordering a table and passing face control. Without pre-order, even an empty room will not be missed. But, by the way, in Dijon there are many other, no less pleasant places where you can eat deliciously.
