Unfortunately, the city of Le Havre, where cruise ships sometimes stand all day, suffered greatly during the Second World War. It is not of great interest to tourists now.
I offer 2 itineraries to experience beautiful Normandy in a day.
1. Rouen, Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur.
2. Etreta, Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur.
Those who are more interested in history and architecture should choose the first route. In Rouen you will see the old streets, the majestic Rouen Cathedral, the place of execution of Joan of Arc.
If you want to admire the beautiful landscapes that inspired many Impressionist artists, it is better to choose a trip to the white cliffs of Etretat. In any case, you will see the famous city of millionaires – Deauville, and fishing Truville with a wonderful fish market, and a small charming port of Honfleur. Tastings of cider and calvados are attached.
