Le Bo de Provence
Description:
To begin with, this small village (commune) in the south of France is part of the association of the most beautiful villages in France.
The village is located at the very top of the cliff, where in the Middle Ages the lords of de Beau erected a powerful citadel, where they gathered the best troubadours to tournaments and from where they tried to spread their power throughout Provence!
No more than 500 people live in this small area, but not only are they given to see all this beauty, we can also enjoy the beautiful views that open from the castle, which is located on the highest cliff, as well as we can see costumed representations of how the inhabitants of these places lived, how they defended their lands. (every 2-3 hours there are theater productions for the guests of the castle), after visiting the castle and walking along the Beau de Provence, we can go to the limestone quarries, which are now called the Light Careers, so in May, June, July and August you can see the paintings of the Chagall in the light.
Believe me, untransmitted emotions and memories will take you back to this delightful place in the heart of Provence for a long time to come.
