Nice fountains

Nice is probably the sunniest city in France. For some, it is a beautiful resort with a warm azure coast of the sea, for others the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fun life of carnivals, restaurants and casinos.
Nice is rich in attractions. Among them, a special place is occupied by the fountains of the azure coast. The most prominent and popular are the Triton Fountain and the Sun Fountain.
In the park of Albert I there is a beautiful fountain Triton, giving life-giving coolness on hot days. Around it are planted exotic palm trees and flowers. It is said that the fountain was taken from Constantinople.
The Fountain of the Sun (Fountain du Soleil) is installed on Massena Square. The sun has long been a symbol and personification of the city of Nice. In the center of the fountain there is a statue of Apollo made of marble, which, as if from above, looks at its five wards, bronze figures, personifying the planets Mars, Earth, Saturn, Mercury, Venus. Flowing water is the personification of the Apollo solar chariot tearing the night darkness with light.
