Museum of Primitive Art

Avenue de Fabron, Nice, France

About the company:

In 1982, an interesting museum was opened in Nice - the Museum of Primitive Art, it is also called the Museum of Naive Art, whose collection was collected thanks to the efforts of a native of Chisinau, art critic Anatole Zhakovski. Musee International d'Art Naif Anatole-Jakovsky is located in the castle of St. Helena, formerly the residence of French perfumer François Coty.

The museum is surrounded by a beautiful park. Today, the mansion houses a huge collection of works in the style of art brutes - naive art, some of which are interesting and funny.

Zhakovsky found the first copies of the collection in flea markets. Moreover, the geography of the works cannot but amaze the imagination, since there are artists from Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean Islands, Africa.
