Mark Chagall National Museum

Avenue du Docteur M nard, 06000 Nice, France

About the company:

The Marc Chagall National Museum is relatively young. It was founded in 1966, when artist Marc Chagall presented the city with a series of seventeen paintings dedicated to the original interpretation of the Old Testament. The series is called the Bible Message.

Marc Chagall took an active part in creating the exterior of the museum. He also decorated the interiors of the museum - blue stained glass windows in one of the halls were created by his hands.

The National Museum of Marc Chagall has at its disposal not only art galleries, but also a concert hall, where concerts of classical and modern music are often held. The museum is open from October 1 to June 30 from 10 to 17 hours. The ticket price is thirty francs.
