Christmas Equestrian Performance at the Museum of the Live Horse of Chantilly Castle

Description:

The Duke of Bourbon, one of the owners of Chantilly Castle, was very fond of horses and even believed that after his death he would be reborn as a horse. He ordered to build such magnificent stables that those approaching the castle think that this grandiose and grandiose building is the castle itself. Now here is the Museum of the Live Horse and horse shows that delight both children and adults.

The stables are a grand structure with a length of 186 meters, which can accommodate 240 horses and 500 dogs.

Since the 18th century, the Grand Stables have become a place of festivities. Here visited Louis XV, King of Sweden, Emperor Joseph, Grand Duke Paul.

And now there are wonderful horse shows. That year, for Christmas, the play “The Donkey Skin” based on the fairy tale of Charles Perrault was prepared. There are 40 actors, 30 horses and ponies. Bright sight with riders, acrobats, trainers. An extravaganza of music and light, viewers cheer for the characters and thus participate in the show.

If you want to bring joy to your children, bring them here. Of course, it is worth combining a visit to the performance and a visit to the beautiful castle of Chantilly.
