The Opera Garnier and the Wax Museum “Greven”
Description:
I offer a joint tour to the Opera Garnier and the Greven Museum as it is convenient, the theater and the museum are close to each other and such a tour is suitable for adults and children, children do not get tired in the theater and rejoice in the museum, where they see cartoon characters, the Little Prince, kings.
The Opera Garnier is one of the most beautiful theaters in Europe.
You can come to this theater even if you don’t have tickets for ballet or opera. The theater itself is a whole play.
I'm going to tell you the history of its construction and the principle of its style, its legend. I will show you many details of the theater and portraits of those who glorified it, who forever entered into its history, which is amazing and, like many things in Paris, is closely connected with the history of Russian immigration, with the Russian seasons of ballets by Serzh Diaghilev. The stage of the theater saw famous ballet dancers: Vaclav Nijinsky, Tamara Karsavina, Ida Rubinstein, Matilda Kshesinskaya, Anna Pavlova. Serge Lifar and Rudolf Nureyev were directors of the theater.
Inside, the Opera Theatre is amazing – a real temple of art. I’ll show you this “performance before the show” – I don’t think you’ll regret coming here, even if not for the show.
After visiting the ballet theater, we will go to the “theater of human comedy” – the Greven Museum – the world of wax figures, where you will be introduced to all the celebrities of French history and modern life of France, as well as people known around the world.
The Greven Museum was created by the teacher of the great Madame Tussaud, who created the famous wax museum in London.
In the Greven Museum you can see almost "live" and take pictures with famous French characters of history - kings since the fifth century, with presidents of the world, popes, famous French actors, athletes, famous fashion singers, cartoon characters and heroes of novels of French writers, like "The Little Prince" or "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo. The museum is interesting for children and adults! Everyone will find their own character.
In the Greven Museum you can feel yourself in the world of magic, illusions, as the halls of the museum are decorated in a special style of the “mirage theater” of the late XIX century.
