Zoological Reserve of Sauvage Castle

Description:

Not far from Paris, the grounds near one of the many local castles have been turned into a wonderful wildlife park.

Numerous birds and animals live here freely strolling by the river. A few visitors also freely walk in close proximity to the inhabitants of the reserve. A flock of flamingos, white and black swans, peacocks, ostriches, pelicans are still many strange birds. Kangaroos are literally underfoot, you can even consider cubs in the bags of mothers. Just like in a fairy tale, deer come to the river to get drunk. Many other ungulates and horned animals coexist peacefully with birds. And all this against the background of the old castle. It's just a treat!

A trip to Sauvage Park can be combined with a visit to the France in Miniature Park - Safari Tuari. Or stop on the way to Chartres. All these places are in the same direction.
