Cafe Two Mills
Paris, 15 rue Lepic (Paris, rue Lepic)
About the company:
“Two Mills” is a real cafe that is located in Paris. You can find it at 15 rue Lepic (15 Lepic Street). Or ask any taxi driver to take you to the cafe where Amelie worked. After the release of the film, the cafe became a place of pilgrimage for many tourists who dream of learning the well-known vitality of this extraordinary Parisian girl.
Those who are eager to immerse themselves in the bright and cozy atmosphere of the film, a couple of surprises await in Two Mills. For example, the interior of the cafe does not quite correspond to what is depicted in the film - several changes were made for the shooting, which were removed after the end of the shooting process.
In addition, there are no female waitresses in the cafe, only men work there, so you will not be able to meet the second Amelie Poulin among the staff. But in the famous Paris brasserie, the whole situation will remind you of the film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet - at any time of the day you will meet a lot of like-minded people here, happily photographed against the background of a large portrait of the slyly smiling Mademoiselle Poulin. In addition, on the menu you will find a dessert named after the main character to hide under it will, of course, crème brule.
