Chaillot Palace
Description:
The Palace of Chaillot, built in 1937, united several museums under its roof: the Museum of Architecture and Monuments, the Museum of Man and the Museum of the Navy. The palace was built on the site of the Trocadero Palace, opposite the Eiffel Tower on the opposite bank of the Seine.
The building itself is two semicircular pavilions, diverging in different directions and connected by a terrace. Between the wings of the palace there is a beautiful observation deck to the Eiffel Tower. The palace is surrounded by gardens and beautiful fountains. Near the palace is open to visitors a huge aquarium CineAqua. Several films were made in the palace.
