Gittorf Fountains in Place de la Concorde
Description:
On both sides of the Luxor obelisk, Gittorf has two nine-meter fountains. They were smaller replicas of fountains from St. Peter’s Square in Rome. The fountains are decorated with statues of Nereid, Triton, other mythical characters, as well as eighteen columns. In the evening, lights are included in the fountains. A few years ago, the restoration of the Gittorf fountains was completed.
