Otey's greenhouse garden

1 place de la porte d'Auteuil, Paris, France

Description:

The Botanical Greenhouse Garden is located on the southern edge of the Boulogne Forest in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. There is a large greenhouse complex, built in 1761 on the initiative of Louis XV. The project was developed by the famous architect and landscape designer of that time Jean-Camille Forme. Today in the botanical garden grow about one hundred thousand plants a year for decoration and interior decoration of municipal buildings and institutions.

In the greenhouses of the botanical garden grow such heat-loving plants as orchids, palm trees, tropical collections of flowers. From the first park of King Louis XV, there are four stone statues that adorn the entrance coming from Versailles and the Palm House, which was completely restored last year.
