André Citroen Park
15th arrondissement of Paris, 75015 Paris
Description:
Andre Citroen Park is a 14-hectare city park built on the banks of the Seine on the site of the former Citroen plant. It was opened in 1992. Many architects worked on the creation of the park, which as a result created an unusual beauty and pleasure for visitors.
On the eastern part of the park there are greenhouses with exotic plants. South of the greenhouses you can find the channel "Garden metamorphosis". In the northern part of the park there are small theme gardens. A 630-meter diagonal road is laid across the park, which connects its thematic parts.
The park has a large balloon with a diameter of 22 meters and a height of 32 meters, which you can ride. The ball raises to a height of 150 meters, accommodating 30 people. Flight on the ball will give an unforgettable impression: from it you can see the Champ de Mars, the Seine and other Parisian attractions.
