Asterix Park

First came the Asterix comic. That was in 1959. The authors of the comic book Albert Uderzo and René Gossini came up with several funny stories in which the main role belonged to a resident of the Gallic village of Asterix. Already in the spring of 1989, the amusement park Asterix was opened, one of the parts of which was the same Gallic village with all its inhabitants and attributes. The park is the third most visited amusement park in France.

Asterix consists of 6 parts: Welcome to Gaul, Ancient Egypt, Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, Vikings and Time Travel. In the Gallic village you can see comic book heroes, ride in a stone boat on huge water slides, watch a performance in the theater, get acquainted with the life of the Gauls and eat in their small cafe.

The territory called "Egypt" displays action from the comic book "Mission of Cleopatra". Here the most interesting attraction - "Osiris": a huge roller coaster, the movement of which occurs at a speed of 90 km / h. Another "Egyptian" attraction is the SOS train Numirobis.

In the "Roman Empire" you will immediately try to enroll as a volunteer. In the story, Caesar can not overcome a small Gallic village, which makes him nervous and gathers a huge army. In order to get under the banner of such a famous commander, you need to pass many tests: the battle in the arena of the Colosseum, a trip along a stormy river and an attack on the village of the Gauls.

Not far from the Roman Empire is Ancient Greece. It can be seen from afar by the tall figure of Zeus. Here you can watch a show of dolphins and sea lions or climb a huge slide between the legs of Zeus and go down at great speed.

On the territory of the "Vikings" you can ride on a huge ship, there are also "Croller coasters" with a dead loop. And finally, the part "Time Travel", where you can watch the life of France at different times. On the territory of this part, glass blowers, blacksmiths, bakers and other working people work in their workshops. Sometimes executions are carried out here, to which crowds of onlookers gather. The most popular show is about the thefts of the century.

In the park "Asterix", in each part, there are many themed restaurants, cafes and eateries. There will not be bored neither an adult, nor a child, nor an old man.

The park operates from April to June from 10.00 to 18.00, from July to October from 10.00 to 19.00.
