Trocadero Square

1 Place du Trocad ro et du 11 Novembre, 75116 Paris, France 52 mV

Description:

Trocadero Square is located in the heart of the French capital. In the Middle Ages, a castle stood on the site of the square, in the 17th century there was a monastery here, which was later destroyed by order of Napoleon. The Emperor of France wanted to build a palace for his son. The project was delayed, and eventually implemented in the 19th century. According to the Parisians, the palace was terrible, because it was demolished, and instead built the palace of Chaillot, which has survived to this day.

The main reason for the insane popularity of the Trocadero Square is the unparalleled view that opens from here to the Eiffel Tower. This becomes clear without words to everyone who finds himself in the square in the late evening - the view of the shining bright lights of the TV tower cuts into memory for a long time.
