Army Museum
129 rue de Grenelle, Paris, France
About the company:
The permanent collections of the museum are organized by historical periods and include sections of ancient weapons, modern times and two world wars. Also in the permanent exposition of the museum there is a section of artillery (both models and real guns), a section of official symbols, where French of different times and captured banners are exhibited, a section of tin soldiers (about 150,000 products created from the XVIII to the middle of the XX century) and a section of fine art (paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and prints - including those sent by the museum to the front during the First World War).
The exposition of the museum is not limited to the premises of the House of Disabled Persons - many exhibits, for example, captured by Napoleon Russian guns, are exhibited in the courtyard, as well as on the esplanade of the House of Disabled Persons. The collection of guns of the French Army Museum is the largest in the world (about a thousand exhibits).
The grave of Napoleon Bonaparte - a man who made a colossal contribution to the military greatness of France - is also in the building of the House of the Disabled.
