About the company:

The Museum of Fine and Applied Arts d’Orsay is located on the site of the former Court of Accounts building, which was burned down during the French Revolution. The building of the future museum was built as a station, but forty years after the completion of the station was unnecessary. In connection with the termination of operation, the building was even going to be demolished. He was saved by the decree of the President of Pompidou on the inclusion of the station in the monuments of French architecture.

The D’Orsay Museum was opened in 1986. The collection is located on five floors, each of which demonstrates different types of art. Most of the collections are designed in the styles of impressionism and post-impressionism.

In addition to exhibitions, the Museum d’Orsay hosts performances and various concerts.
