About the company:

The Picasso Art Gallery and Museum is located in the Marais district of Paris in the building of the ancient Hotel Particulier. The building, designed by architect Jean Boullier of Bourges, is considered one of the best historical buildings in the Marais quarter. The collection was made by the curator of national museums Dominique Bozo. The exhibited works of Picasso allow you to trace the creative path of the artist from 1894 to 1972.

The exposition of the museum includes more than two hundred paintings, one hundred sculptures and one and a half thousand drawings, sketches and sketches. Of particular interest are the portraits of the artist’s wives and family members, which differ from the usual manner of the author in touching and loving. The museum provides a deeper understanding of Picasso’s inner world. There is a collection of primitive African art, which the author personally collected - masks of the Nimba and Grebo tribes from New Guinea, Iberian bronze, sketches of Giorgio de Chirico and Degas, some paintings by Corot, Cezanne, Renoir and Matisse, in which Picasso drew inspiration.

The museum contains the largest collection of photographs of the artist, in which he is captured with family and friends, as well as in moments of creativity and rest.
