Museum of the Middle Ages

6 Place Paul Painlev, 75005 Paris

About the company:

The Museum of the Middle Ages (or the Cluny Museum) in Paris is one of the most famous museums dedicated to the history of the Middle Ages.

The museum is located in the center of the famous Latin Quarter, on the corner of the Boulevards Saint-Michel and Saint-Germain. The building, which now houses the museum, was part of the Roman baths that were on this site when Paris was still called Lutetia. The modern Cluny Museum is the largest surviving antique structure in Paris.

The exposition of the museum is a collection of tapestries, stained glass, wooden and stone sculptures. The museum has items of antique furniture.

The museum is of great value to amateurs and historians of the Middle Ages, who include it in the compulsory program of visiting the French capital.
