Jacquemart Andre Museum
158 Boulevard Haussmann, Paris, France
About the company:
Located in an old mansion from the last century, the Jacquemart-Andre Museum attracts travelers again and again. Artist Nely Jacquemart bequeathed an exhibition of rare exhibits, which they collected together with her husband, and the house to the Institute of France. They collected their collection while traveling to Europe. Every year they visited Italy and brought new works of artists.
Jacquemart-Andre keeps within its walls the rarest collections of Italian Renaissance painting, the French school of the eighteenth century. The collected exhibits put the collection of the Museum of Jacquemart-Andre on the 2nd place in its value after the Louvre. The museum has works of genius creators such as “Portrait of the Earl of Beckingham”, authored by Sir Thomas Lawrence, Rembrandt’s work “Pilgrims to Emmaus”, “Madonna and Child” by Sandro Botticelli, “Martyrdom of St. Sebastian” by Donatello. The cost of the collection cannot be estimated.
