National Museum of Natural History
36, rue Geffroy St-Hillaire, Paris
About the company:
The National Museum of Natural History is located in Paris and combines a fairly extensive list of organizations. There is a Plant Garden, the Vincennes Zoo, the Human Museum, the Gallery of Evolution, the Mineralogical Gallery, the Paleontological Museum. If you are traveling with children, be sure to dedicate a day to this museum - there are enough impressions for a year ahead.
The museum begins its history at the beginning of the eighteenth century, when, by decree of Louis XV, the King’s Garden was created, intended for the study of natural science. This garden received the status of a museum in 1794, when it was headed by Georges-Louis Leclerc. After 1907, the museum received extensive financial opportunities and opened several scientific institutions that are still operating today.
