National Museum of Jean-Jacques Enner

43 Avenue de Villiers, Paris, France

About the company:

The Jean-Jacques Enner Art Museum, which combined under its roof the largest part of the paintings of the French painter, is located in a Paris mansion that previously belonged to Jean-Jacques’ niece. The gallery was opened to visitors in 1924, and in 1943 the museum acquired the status of a national one.

The French artist Jean-Jacques Enner (1829-1905), a representative of academicism, studied at the Paris National Higher School of Fine Arts. Many of his paintings depict naked young women. There are paintings with landscapes and religious themes, made in the style of symbolism. The museum features more than 1,000 sketches of the master, as well as some documents and souvenirs that once belonged to Enner.

Children under 18 can visit the museum for free.
