Beauvais Thiel Airport Paris

Description:

Beauvais Airport is about 80 kilometers from Paris and originally served only domestic flights. However, due to the growing popularity of low-cost flights, the airport came to the attention of low-cost airlines and began to be promoted by them on the market as one of the airports of Paris.

The airport was built in 1930. Beginning in 1940, it was actively used by German troops, and after the end of World War II it became a military base for NATO troops. In 1956, the airport "returned to peaceful life" - from here commercial flights to England were carried out.

Today, two terminals accept passengers. Terminal 1 opened in 1980 and Terminal 2 in December 2011. The well-established transport connection with Paris allows you to literally 75 minutes to be near the Arc de Triomphe – buses depart directly from the airport terminal. You can use the shuttle bass to get to Disneyland and Charles de Gaulle Airport. If you have any questions, you will always be helped at the Tourist Information Center at the exit of the arrival hall.

Passengers who plan to use the services of Beauvais Airport should be aware that at 23.30 the airport building closes until 6.30am: planes do not fly here at night, so as not to cause inconvenience to local residents.
