Angelica Garden

Route de Lyon, Rouen, France | Montmain

Description:

Angelica Garden was created by amateur gardeners Gloria and Yves Lebellegar in 1989 in memory of their deceased eldest daughter Angelica. The magnificent garden is laid out around an ancient mansion of the XVII century.

Even after her husband's death, Gloria continued with the help of her youngest daughter Claire. Eve was very fond of roses, so today there are more than 200 different types of roses in the garden.

Also in the garden grows a lot of truly magnificent flowers, shrubs and perennial trees.

Gloria studied the art of gardening and approaches to landscape decoration in Spain. That is why she created a masterpiece on her flower beds, standing in front of them like an artist in front of a canvas, looking for perfect color balance.

So the garden of Angelica consists, we can safely say, of two completely different style gardens: one dreamy, gentle and romantic, rich in delicate flowers and one in the Italian style, where flower beds with perennial plants and decorative herbs are interspersed with decoratively cut yew bushes.
