Description:

Chamonix is an ancient alpine village located at the junction of France, Switzerland and Italy. Famous climbers conquered the peaks of the Mont Blanc Valley, avid skiers and climbers return here from year to year. In Chamonix you will find buildings of the Middle Ages, the first hotels, a Baroque church, a story about historical figures and the history of mountaineering, a visit to the exhibition hall of Tairraz or the Alpine Museum.

The majestic Mont Blanc (4810 m), numerous glaciers, breathtaking rocky slopes and mountain peaks covered with eternal snow. This landscape is unique, and such a variety of relief is not found anywhere else in the world. On the funicular we will climb the peak of Aiguis du Midi to the foot of Mont Blanc: a unique panorama overlooking the Chamonix Valley and the Swiss Alps, a story about the history of the first hikes in the mountains and ascents to Mont Blanc. Montanver and the Ice Sea: A 30-minute ascent by a jagged railway (opened in 1908) overlooking the icy sea and the White Valley, Le Drew Rock. You can visit the museum of alpine fauna, an exhibition of crystals and an ice grotto. It is necessary to provide 1 hour for ascent and descent, and 1.5 hours for visiting the museum and the grotto.

Church of Our Lady of All Graces: in the small alpine village of Passy in the middle of the 20th century, an unusual church was built in the style of an alpine chalet with the works of the most famous painters of the time (Fernan Leger, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, Pierre Bonnard, Paul Boni...), uniting artists of different faiths and trends. The church is located 20 km from Chamonix. Le Temple du Fromage includes a cheese museum, a cheese shop and a restaurant with regional cuisine.
