About the company:
The Saint-Reymond Museum is housed in the historic building of the medieval University of Toulouse, one of the few surviving medieval buildings. In 1523, the building was built under the direction of architect Louis Privat. At that time there was a college, where students came to Toulouse from different regions to study law, theology, medicine. In 1836, the city acquired the former college building. In 1852-1853, when the square was built around the Basilica Saint-Sernin, the college building was the only one that escaped destruction. In 1868-1871, large-scale restoration work was carried out here, two decades later, in 1891, the Saint-Reymont Museum is located here.
