Tourette-sur-Loup - the city of violets and the cascades of the wolf gorge

Tourette-sur-Loup is called the city of violets, as this beautiful and timid little flower has been grown and processed here for the last century. Today it is one of the main crafts of the village, thanks to which in Tourette-sur-Loup you can find the widest range of products from violets. In early March, during the festival of violets, there are lush fashion shows and flower battles.

This charming medieval village has captured the hearts of filmmakers. A source of inspiration for making great films. The beauty of these places attracted such outstanding figures of cinema as Alfred Hitchcock, Claude Lelusch.

Today, more than 30 workshops and art galleries are concentrated in this corner, thanks to which the village is considered one of the centers of artistic creativity in this region.
