Thoury Castle
Toury, 03290 Saint-Pourcain-sur-Besbre, France
Description:
Thuri Castle is one of the old castles of France, located in a small town called Saint-Pursin-sur-Besbre in the Vichy department. It was built in the fifteenth century. The founders of the castle are considered to be the lords of the Turi family. A few centuries later, the building passed into the possession of the Connie family, which continues to be its only full owner.
Turi Castle is located on a small meadow decorated with colorful flower beds and green trees. It is a representative of the castles of the Middle Ages, as indicated by the presence of an inner courtyard and high watchtowers, as well as monochrome brickwork. In the building leads a small stone bridge over a cumbersome passage in the main tower, which is not designed to protect the territory and courtyard, as it is always open.
