Akanda National Park

Akanda is the national reserve of the Republic of Gabon. Together with Pongara Park, the territory of Akanda covers 1,500 square kilometers.

The reserve is widely known for beautiful beaches and magnificent mangroves. Here is a favorite place of tourists - Pointe Denny Peninsula - a comfortable and affordable resort located near Libreville.

Thanks to its close proximity to the Gabonese capital Libreville, Akanda is endowed with a fairly developed infrastructure, there are tourist routes, hotels, restaurants and a network of various types of transport.
