La Visit Natural National Park

La Visit is a natural national park located 40 km southwest of Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Most of the park is located on the territory of the De la Sel mountain range.

For tourists, La Visit Park offers 5-6-hour walking tours along more than 30 walking paths, the route of which lies among the rocks of volcanic origin, which locals called “beauty-dan” – “broken teeth”. Pedestrian paths, at first glance, are dangerous for locals as trails on which they move constantly.

Hectares of tropical rain forests, beautiful limestone karst caves, endangered species of endemic, characteristic only for the area, plants (ferns, orchids, cacti) and birds – this is what nature lovers can see in the park La Visit.
