Kaiser Park Friedrich

Kaiser-Friedrich-Park, 52074 Aachen, Germany

Description:

Kaiser Friedrich Park is a green oasis in the south of the bustling German city of Aachen. It was founded at the beginning of the last century and is an area of about 13 hectares, on which there is everything for peaceful recreation and cultural leisure.

As a true German park, it is very thought out, and although most of it is occupied by various green spaces, there are paths for running and walking, tennis courts, basketball courts and much more. There are monuments throughout the park, including a monument to Kaiser Friedrich, after whom the park is actually named.

In the very center of the park is a lake, you can take a boat trip along it. On the territory there are several cafes where you can have a snack, enjoying the scenery. By the way, during the Second World War, the park was practically not damaged, so today it has been preserved almost in its original form.
