About the company:

Kuven Museum is located in the heart of the city, in a mansion of the XVIII century, which belongs to a rich pharmacist Andreas Monheim. The museum is dedicated to the bourgeois culture of the XVIII - XIX centuries. The halls of the museum are decorated in an architectural cocktail of various styles. Here you can clearly see the elements of classicism, empire, baroque and rococo.

The exposition of the museum presents household items, kitchen utensils, silverware, a collection of faience and Meissen porcelain, but a collection of ancient furniture of the XVIII - XIX centuries is of particular interest and value. Thus, the museum gives a complete and clear picture of the luxurious and pompous life of the German burghers of past centuries.
