A grandiose castle of ancient style, proudly towering above the breathtaking panorama of the Danube Valley. Valhalla is a monument to all the great men of Germany, whose busts are placed on its inner walls. We climb to the castle bypassing its steep steps - along a picturesque gentle forest path.
Water trip on the Danube (lasts 1 hour – 8 euros). The colorful town of Donaushtauf with ancient churches, castle ruins and a Chinese pagoda, together creating wonderful compositions against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains and the Danube.
