Commendé Palace

Oberkasseler Straß e 10, 53227 Bonn, Germany

Description:

This palace was built in the thirteenth century, and at that time it belonged to a very wealthy landowner who wished to establish his residence in these picturesque places. The stylistics of this structure gravitates to the early Baroque, which, in fact, was a good tone in the architecture of the thirteenth century. For several centuries, many generations of German nobles have lived carefree in this castle, enjoying the clean air and magnificent views. However, in the early 19th century, Napoleon granted it, and as a usurper he appropriated the Palace of Commenda to himself.

Currently, the restored palace is an international class hotel with spacious parking and high quality service.
