Bremen

Bremen - the city of freedom, merchants and musicians

Description:

Those who have never even been to Gemenia or Europe, still know that in the north of Germany there is a city of Bremen. In no small part, the city owes its fame to four friends who went to Bremen to become street musicians, but Bremen was never reached, but now they are one of the symbols of this city.
In fairness, it should be noted that musically gifted animals did not just go to Bremen. They were attracted primarily by the fame of this city as one of the richest and freest cities in Germany. But this glory Bremen brought as once the real masters of the city - its inhabitants: merchants and shipbuilders, urban patricians and artisans, its citizens and hired workers. For a long time of its existence, Bremen was a village, and the capital of the archbishopric, and a free imperial city, and the capital of the French department, and even the capital of the Bremen Soviet Republic. Despite all the historical cataclysms, the city and its inhabitants were able to preserve the main principle of Bremen - individuality and the desire for freedom and independence. No wonder one of the symbols of the city is a stone figure of the knight Roland, listed in the list of cultural heritage of UNESCO. The market square, the town hall, the cathedral, the building of the merchants’ guild, the Weser promenade, the historical streets and quarters of the old city - this is an incomplete list of attractions that represent the unforgettable appearance of this smallest, but still independent German Bundeszem.
