Wilhelm Wagenfeld House Museum

Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Haus, Am Wall, 28195 Bremen, Germany

About the company:

The Wilhelm Wagenfeld House Museum, located in the German city of Bremen, is a design center. The museum was opened in 1998 and bears the name of the famous German industrial designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld, whose sketches created functional things that can be seen in any German house: lamps, oilseeds, pepperglasses.

The museum houses an exhibition of works by Wagenfeld himself and his students, who never go out of fashion: an electric table lamp with a hemispherical cap made of matte glass, an ordinary tea pair made of porcelain. Lectures and seminars held at the Wilhelm Wagenfeld House-Museum examine the history of design, discuss the problems of design and production of industrial products in the context of environmental protection.
