Esprit Arena Stadium
Arena-Straß e 1, 40474 Dusseldorf, Deutschland
Description:
Esprit Arena is a huge multifunctional stadium located in Düsseldorf, Germany. It is the home sports arena for the Rhine Fire American football team as well as the German football club Fortune. The stadium was built in 2004 specifically for the 2006 World Cup. The complex was built near the Rhine River, on the site of the old Rheinstadion Stadium. Construction work was estimated at 240 million euros.
The total capacity of the stadium is 51,500 spectators. Thanks to the canopy located above the stands, as well as the sliding roof over the playing field and a special field heating system, competitions can be held in all weather conditions. From January to June 2009, Bayer, a football club from the city of Leverkusen, held its home matches here in connection with the large-scale reconstruction of its own arena.
The infrastructure of Esprit Arena is developed at the highest level - it has everything for a comfortable location for visitors, players and staff.
