The Ehrenhof Museum Complex is a unique cultural center in Düsseldorf. In one place there are collected the most famous paintings of artists of the XVI-XX centuries, as well as expositions of folk craft, reflecting the life of the city from ancient times to this day. The Ehrenhof Museum Complex is located on the banks of the Rhine River, it includes three museums: the People and Economy Museum, the City Art Museum and the Palace of Arts.
The most valuable collection of Ehrenhof consists of collections of works by such outstanding masters as Cranach, Rubens, Friedrich Wilhelm Schadov, Peter von Cornelius, as well as works by masters of painting of the Academy of Düsseldorf of the XIX century.
