Eschenhai Tower n

Eschenheimer Tor 1, 60318 Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Description:

Eschenheim Tower is the oldest building that has retained its unchanging appearance among the reconstructed buildings of the city. It is located in the city center, near Bockenheimer Anlage Park.

It survived all the wars and is a rare example of the architecture of the fortress wall of the 15th century.

The tower, built in the neo-Gothic style, has 8 floors and two attic compartments, and its height is 47 meters. The tower is completed by a central spire surrounded by four small turrets.

On the central facade of the tower at the level of 2 floors you can see 2 pointed turrets, and on the reverse side there is a covered balcony. Currently, there is a bar and restaurant in the tower building, which is often visited by tourists.
