Description:
The Sculpture Museum opened in 1909 in the former villa of Heinrich Baron von Liebieg. The museum’s collection includes works of art from different eras – from ancient Egypt (bronze horse of the 8th century BC) to an amazing exhibition of medieval art.
The museum is located in Schaumainkai and is surrounded by a garden where some sculptures are exhibited. The museum regularly hosts various excursions and seminars for children, adolescents, families and adults.
