Frankfurt

Maintower skyscraper

Neue Schlesingergasse 23, Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Description:

Maintower is the fourth tallest building in Frankfurt. You can admire this architectural structure built in 2008 on Neue Mainzer Strase. The lower floors of the skyscraper are integrated into the historical facade. The Maintower has a fully glazed facade. If you weighed the building, it would weigh more than the Eiffel Tower.

The tower has 5 underground floors and 56 above ground. Here at an altitude of 198 meters there is a restaurant and two observation platforms. Climbing to them will be quite simple, because the elevators working in the building, rise at a speed of 7 meters per second.

In the Maintower skyscraper there are works of modern art. In the foyer of the skyscraper is a wall mosaic "Frankfurter Treppe/XX. Jahrhundert" by Stefan Huber and a video installation "The World of Appearances" by Villa Viola.
