Messeturm skyscraper
Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Description:
Messeturm is a skyscraper in the business part of Frankfurt am Main, its height is 117 meters. The skyscraper was built in record time for this type of construction: 400 workers erected a building weighing 60,000 tons in 13 months - in 1983-1984.
The skyscraper is made in the traditional style of postmodernism for business centers, and in shape it resembles a guillotine. This is due to the fact that in the center of the building there is a high-rise glass tower, and on the side there are two more buildings of lower height.
Today, Messeturm has many offices of leading German and world companies, as well as a kindergarten, a comfortable press center and even a house for prayer. In addition, the business center is equipped with the most modern equipment and many elevators for comfortable movement inside the building.
